 EC Beauty's COVID-19 Response Plan

We're actively adapting our systems and protocols to ensure that you, our clients, and we are safe.
We're following the CDC guidelines and all of our staff has been tested prior to the studio reopening. 

What is EC Beauty is Doing Differently?

In addition to the CDC guidelines, EC Beauty Studio is going the extra mile and putting the following policies and procedures in place effective immediately:

  1. The entire studio has been professionally steamed and cleaned using ONLY non-toxic, eco-friendly, and organic cleaners. 

  2. Certified HEPA purifiers have been installed throughout the entire spa, including each treatment room and main waiting area. 

  3. UV disinfectant lamps have been added to each treatment room and will be used after every treatment session. 

  4. All staff will be required to wear a facial mask and facial shield during each treatment session. 

Client Appointment Arrival Protocol

  1. Clients must arrive wearing a mask. Anyone not arriving wearing a mask will be rescheduled with the usual late cancellation policy being put into effect. While you will not be wearing a mask during your treatment, we must be sure that you are joining us in taking necessary health precautions on the way to your appointment.

  2. When booking your appointment, we will complete a pre-appointment
    screening.

  3. You will complete a COVID-19 questionnaire along with any of the usual intake or consent forms that may be necessary.

  4. We ask that you please complete the forms online prior to your appointment. 

Client Appointment Guidelines

  1. Any client that falls ill for any reason should reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment. We are changing the appointment cancellation notice from 24 to 48 hours.

  2. Update your payment on file to have a smooth check out and eliminate cash exchange.

  3. Booking appointments in bulk are encouraged as this will also streamline checkout time.

  4. We greatly appreciate tips and gratuities. Please note these are not included in our services and can only be accepted through Vemmo.

  5. On the day of your appointment, you will not be permitted to bring anyone with you to your appointment unless you are a minor (under age 18), foreign language speaker needing an interpreter, disabled, or elderly needing caregiver’s assistance.

  6. Drinks or food will not be permitted.

  7. We are limiting the number of patients in the studio and will require social distancing and further protective protocols will be enforced in the practice for the staff and patient safety. 

  8. Arrive only 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please alert us via text or call if you are running late! Anyone arriving more than 10 minutes late will have to have their treatment time shortened to accommodate social distancing and disinfecting for the next patient. 

  9. Anyone that has to be rescheduled due to lateness will be subject to the late cancellation policy of $75. We must have time between patients for proper disinfecting, so no patient overlap will be allowed. If you arrive earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment, please find a safe place to wait outside of the office.
