What are eyelash extensions?
They are individual, long-lasting lashes. Our synthetic eyelash extensions are applied directly to your natural lashes using a medical grade semi-permanent adhesive. This gives natural lashes the appearance of being thicker and longer.
What can I expect during the procedure?
You will feel pampered and relaxed for 90 mins - 2 ½ hours depending on the lash look you desire. For example a natural set which has 40 lashes per eye takes approximately 90-120 minutes. Touch-ups take less time: approximately 20-45 minutes. Your eyes will be closed and protected throughout the procedure. Most clients fall asleep because soft relaxing music is played during the duration of the procedure and all full sets are complimented with a hand treatment.
How long will the extensions last?
With the proper care extensions will last for the entire cycle of the hair growth, approximately 4-8 weeks depending on the individual. Natural eyelashes shed on a regular basis, resulting in multiple eyelash loss on any given day. When the natural lash is shed the synthetic lash will fall with it. Touch-up applications will be necessary 2-4 weeks to maintain a full lash line.
What are the varying lengths of lashes?
Variation in length is recommended to create a natural flow. EC Beauty Studio has a unique volume extension designed for voluminous and dramatic looks. We also apply flare extensions which fill in lash gaps. Glamorous Eyelash Style are the most popular!!!
Do you offer lash extension removal?
Yes, if you wish to remove your lashes before they naturally fall out EC Beauty Studio offers a removal service for an additional charge. This service is also offered if you applied your lashes at another studio or spa. A professional adhesive remover with our rolling technique is used to remove extensions.
It is very important that you do not remove the lashes on your own, pulling on the lashes can result breakage and loss of lashes.
What type of adhesive do you use?
We use a waterproof semi-permanent, medical grade formula in black or clear. Dermatologist tested and contains no formaldehyde.
Will the eyelash extension damage my lashes?
No, EC Beauty Studio uses a technique that adheres extensions to your natural lashes not to the hair follicle. Extensions will last for the entire cycle of the hair growth, approximately 4-8 weeks depending on the individual. Natural eyelashes shed on a regular basis, resulting in extension loss.
What are the after care instructions?
Do not cleanse eyes, shower, swim, or use a steam or dry sauna for 12 to 24 hours after the procedure
Do not use an eyelash curler
Avoid all oil-based make-up products and eye-makeup remover
Touch ups are recommended every two to four weeks
Can I use mascara with the eyelash extension?
Mascara is not necessary after extension. You can use any type of mascara which is not waterproof.
Can I wear contacts during the procedure?
We recommend for clients to remove there contacts because eyes will be closed for a few hours. Contacts are safe to wear but we suggest removing them for comfort.
What colors are available?

What if I have blonde lashes?
We recommend blonds to tint there lashes a medium brown before eyelash extension. EC Beauty Studio offers eyelash tinting which is done with a natural vegetable dye.
What if my lashes are curly?
For extremely curly lashes, the lashes can be chemically relaxed and straightened. Allow lashes to remain untouched for two days before applying extension.
What if I have straight lashes?
EC Beauty Studio uses a technique to apply extension to the underside of your lash to achieve natural curly look.
What if my lashes are pointed downward?
It is recommended that the natural eyelashes to be permed slightly 2 days before the eyelash extensions are applied.

Refills are based on the amount of lashes that are used during the process.

Lash Removal: If eyelash extensions are done at another location outside of EC Beauty Studio lash removal is $120.00. The removal process takes about 90 minutes. A professional adhesive remover with our rolling technique is used to remove extensions.
